| PRIOR TO LAYING |
- Remove the previous fl oorcovering
- The floor has to be dry and grease stains removed. In case of uneven floor
use a smoothing product except for our textile backing products which can be
laid on uneven fl oors
- Clean the support with soapy water
- Remove all remaining bumps such as paint, plaster...
- Room temperature must to be over 15°C

| FLOOR CUTTING |
- PVC floor to be stored in the room during at least 24h in order to become
acclimatized to the ambient temperature.
- Unroll and precut the vinyl prior to laying
- Cut fl oorcovering to between 15 and 20 cm larger than the room

| MATERIAL NEEDED FOR LAYING |
- Metal ruler
- Spatula Trimming knife
- Semi-free installation: double-sided adhesive tape
- Fixed installation: a finely serrated spatula, strong
acrylic glue

| 3 LAYING STYLES |
- Glued laying (acrylic glue)
- Semi-free laying (with adhesive tape)
- Free laying: recommended for thicker and heavier vinyl
floors

Glued laying |
- Roll up half the roll and lay down the glue with a combed spatula.
- Lay down the vinyl smoothing it out to prevent air bubble from the room
centre to the wall.
- Repeat the same operation for the other half.
- Equalize the edges with a cutter or razor blade tool.

Semi-Free laying |
- Lay down a double-sided adhesive tape all around the
room.
|

| |
Free laying |
- Same process as for semi-free laying but without adhesive tape.
- In case of a join it must be stuck with a double-sided adhesive
tape.

| ADVICES AND TIPS |
Seal cold welding |
- Cover the cut seal with an adhesive tape
- Cut the adhesive tape at the seal
- Cover the fl aps with new adhesive tape before cutting the seal
- Apply the cold welding
